The Artists Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] organization open to all Central Coast artists and supporters of the arts. Its purpose is to encourage artists in the area to grow in artistic ability, to enable them to exhibit their works for sale, and to promote artistic awareness in the community-at-large.

Approximately 120 members support Guild activities and are eligible to show their original fine art in the Guild Room at the Gallery Los Olivos. Guild membership includes both amateur and professional artists, who work in a wide range of media: oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, collage, mixed media, color and B&W photography, photo-based digital art, and fiber art.

The Artists Guild is wholly staffed by volunteers and sponsors many art activities, workshops, and scholarships for promising young artists.


Los Olivos Quick Draw and Art Festival
Saturday, August 21, 2010 10 am - 4 pm

Quick Draw is sponsored by the Los Olivos Gallery Organization (LOGO), Los Olivos Business Organization (LOBO), the Wildling Art Museum, Los Olivos Rotary, the Artists Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley, Gallery Los Olivos, with the help of various community volunteers, donors, and benefactors.

Festivities will include a Quick Draw, Live Auction of Quick Draw art, a Silent Auction, plus numerous booths of fine art and arts & crafts strategically located around town, music, food, and the wine tasting amenities of Los Olivos.

The primary task of AGSYV is to coordinate the festival artists who will display and sell their fine art and arts & crafts around town.

Although the deadline for applying is July 1, the Guild will accept late applications for a waiting list. Download an application here.

Silent Auction art donations are welcomed. Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds go to the artist and fifty percent (50%) go to the Los Olivos Gallery Organization to support future art events in Los Olivos. Please consider donating some of your original art and/or reproductions of your original art (suitably labeled).
